I use an Atomic Force microscope (AFM) to study the interaction between Extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins. In particular, I am interested in the assembly and aggregation process of the protein TasA, a major matrix protein that has amyloid - like properties. Understanding the interactions between amyloid - like proteins may shed light on their formation mechanisms.
I am a postdoctoral student from India. I completed my PhD from JMI, New Delhi in 2018 and I am mostly interested in Biophysical Chemistry. Since February 2019 I utilize biophysical approaches to characterize the TasA aggregation mechanism
I was born in Jerusalem, Israel. I am currently pursuing M.Sc studies in Biological Chemistry. In the lab I’m studying the properties of biofilms and their interactions with metal ions. In my spare time I enjoy reading, making art and traveling.
I was born in Madrid, Spain. I completed my B.SC. in Chemistry and Biology Sciences at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and now I am a current Ph.D. student (direct track). My hobbies include reading, playing the piano, boxing, padel (really cool sport played in Spain!) and cooking.
